Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2024 Offseason Start Dates Revealed
Here's when the Bucs are set to get going again as the 2024 season approaches.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still enjoying the offseason, but the time to play some more football will come sooner than later.
Every team is gearing up for the NFL Draft, of course, but preparations for the 2024 season will begin sooner than that. Teams are slowly announcing their offseason dates, and the Bucs are no exception, revealing just when they are set to get started with their 2024 campaign.
Tampa Bay is set to begin their 2024 program on April 15, 10 days before the beginning of the NFL Draft on April 25. After that, they'll hold Organized Team activities, or OTAs, On May 21-23, May 28-30 and June 4-6. Finally, mandatory minicamp will start on June 11 and end on June 13, making way for training camp later on.
The first part will begin before the Bucs' incoming draft class joins the team. Once that happens, Tampa Bay will eventually hold rookie minicamp — this is usually done on either the first week or the second week after the NFL draft.
After that will be training camp. While the start date for that is unknown, Tampa Bay started training camp last year on July 30, so that could be a simlar target for when the Bucs get ready to truly prepare for the 2024 NFL season.
